NASCA Annual Meeting

Join us in Chicago, IL for the United Soccer Coaches Convention, held from January 8th to January 12th, 2025!

Our annual NASCA meeting will see an exciting panel of guests join us in 2025. First up is Ally Mackay, General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer at DC United (MLS). Originally from the Isle of Lewis, Ally originally came to the US to play in college for the University of Evansville (D1) before embarking on a career as an agent and then in the front office. After a long stint with Nashville SC, he joined DC in late 2023.

Our Speaker Series started in 2020 during COVID as way to keep everyone connected as we were all stuck in the house! Since then, it has had guests such as National Team managers, Craig Brown, Walter Smith, and Shelley Kerr, Premier League Managers Owen Coyle, David Moyes, and Gordon Strachan, and former internationalists like James McFadden, David Weir, and Leanne Crichton.

Our annual meeting at the United Soccer Coaches Convention continues to be a huge success and the highlight of the year for our group. What started as a handful of coaches sitting around a table blethering has grown into guest panels speaking to 75+ attendees. We have had the fortune of people like Jack Ross, Donald Park, Charlie Mulgrew, and John Harkes join us over the years. We always look forward to the opportunity to catch up with many old friends and connected with our new members!
